West Bromwich Albion are targeting Brighton midfielder Andrew Moran for a loan deal before the February 2 transfer deadline. West Brom are one of three EFL clubs pursuing the 22-year-old, with Championship rivals Preston North End and League One's Huddersfield Town, who are chasing promotion, also interested. West Brom's new manager, Eric Ramsay, wants to strengthen his midfield options. Preston are also monitoring Moran, viewing him as an alternative should they fail to re-sign another loan target from Everton. Brighton are looking to send Moran out on another temporary move due to the significant squad depth at the club. He recently returned from a loan spell with Los Angeles FC. The midfielder, who has previously been on loan at Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City, is contracted until 2028, making a loan the most probable type of transfer.
