Corey Blackett-Taylor, a 29-year-old English winger, has an uncertain long-term future at Derby County, where he is not considered part of manager John Eustace's plans and is not assured of playing time. His contract is set to expire at the end of the season. After many expected his permanent departure from Pride Park last summer, a transfer did not happen before the early September deadline. It has been suggested that Plymouth Argyle, managed by Tom Cleverley, should pursue the versatile attacker in the January window. He could provide competition and depth, offering pace and power on either flank or as a wing-back. A departure from Derby in January is considered probable, as he is expected to have other interested clubs in the EFL and his position in the team hierarchy will be lowered when injured players return. The player has recent promotion experience from League One, having assisted Bolton Wanderers in their promotion last season while on loan, scoring two goals in seven appearances. It is also suggested Derby should sell him soon to prevent his departure on a free transfer when his contract ends. Bolton Wanderers have also been linked with the player, who has a current Transfermarkt market value of €450K and has previously earned 4 caps for England's U17 team, scoring two goals.
