Southampton expressed an interest in signing Canadian and English forward Daniel Jebbison over the summer following a successful loan spell with Preston North End. Jebbison, who has been capped nine times by Canada, remained with Bournemouth beyond the summer after impressing new boss Marco Rose in pre-season. He joined the club in July 2024 and is under contract until June 2028. With Evanilson, Alvaro Rodriguez, and Junior Kroupi as options up top, Daniel Jebbison has not played many minutes with the Premier League club and could be allowed to leave in the winter. Southampton could offer the 23-year-old more minutes back in the Championship during the second half of the campaign. The forward has also been linked with Birmingham City and Middlesbrough. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €8.0M.
