West Bromwich Albion are among several English clubs interested in AEK Athens player Dimitris Kaloskamis ahead of the January transfer window. The 21-year-old Greece Under-21 international has asked to leave Athens this winter due to limited opportunities. It is reported that talks are underway for a potential move. According to sources, West Brom are one of the clubs looking to act on the situation to strengthen their squad. However, they face competition from fellow Championship promotion hopefuls Southampton, who are also observing the situation, as well as from LaLiga. It is understood that Levante have held formal talks over a move for the playmaker. Sources indicate a fee of approximately £3 million could be sufficient to sign Kaloskamis. The player desires a new challenge. Kaloskamis joined AEK in July 2025 and is under contract until 2030. He has 14 caps and one goal for Greece's U21 team and a current Transfermarkt market value of €1.80m.
