Leeds United, Newcastle United, and Nottingham Forest are among several Premier League clubs that have been made aware that 25-year-old Folarin Balogun is available for a January transfer from AS Monaco. According to TEAMtalk, the striker is available after a frustrating spell in France, and his representatives, led by Jorge Mendes, are exploring new options. Manchester United and the Italian club Juventus have also been approached regarding a potential move, and Everton, whose summer deal for Balogun collapsed, have been spoken to again. Sources have indicated that Man Utd are considering the USMNT striker as they look to strengthen their attacking options. Balogun has 31 caps and 12 goals for the USA. He joined Monaco from Arsenal in August 2023 for a fee of €30M, and his current contract runs until 2028. The collapsed summer transfer to Everton was reportedly for a package of around €50M, which was Monaco's asking price. More recent reports from October 2026 linked Balogun to Juventus with valuations around €40M. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €50M.
