Football content creators Tom Garratt and Callum Fowler discussed the start to the season for Icelandic centre-forward Andri Gudjohnsen, 24, at Blackburn Rovers and a potential move to West Bromwich Albion. Garratt, who is a West Brom fan, spoke about the possibility of bringing Gudjohnsen to the Hawthorns from Blackburn. Garratt urged Albion to sign Gudjohnsen, stating that he is very good. Stan has put that it is a good audition for a January Baggies move. Fowler added that they cannot afford him. Garratt and Fowler debated Gudjohnsen's value, with Fowler stating a value of "15," and Garratt responded by questioning if that was for one half of a good season. Fowler said that Blackburn has a history of holding out for high fees. The discussion included the idea that West Brom would probably need to offer a significant fee to tempt Blackburn into negotiations and that Gudjohnsen is beyond the financial reach of West Brom as a Championship club. It was also said that unless circumstances change dramatically, any Baggies' hopes of signing him seem slim, and that Blackburn's chances of selling mid-season are low. Gudjohnsen has 43 caps and 12 goals for Iceland, and his contract expires on 30/06/2028. His current Transfermarkt market value is €4.00m.
