Championship side Preston North End is interested in Parkhead's 23-year-old South Korean winger Hyun-jun Yang, who nearly moved to Birmingham City in the summer. The player is highly rated by Martin O’Neill, but a potential sale this month has become unlikely after Celtic's deal for another winger, Jocelyn Ta Bi, experienced a setback. Yang, who has been capped six times for South Korea, has made 15 appearances in the Scottish Premiership this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist. He joined the Scottish club in July 2023 and is under contract until 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €2.50m.
