Porto winger Borja Sainz could become available in the New Year, and a potential move to Wolves has been suggested as an option to explore when the January window opens. The 25-year-old may be frustrated with his limited role at the Portuguese club, which he joined in July 2025, where he has not started a game this season under coach Francesco Farioli, who reportedly views him as a substitute capable of making a significant impact. Despite his limited game time, Sainz has scored three goals in eight appearances. The prospect of joining Wolves, where he would instantly become a key player, may appeal to the Spaniard. He previously had a successful spell in the Championship with Norwich, scoring 18 goals in the 2024/25 season before his move to Porto. His contract with the club runs until 2030, and his current market value is listed by Transfermarkt as €20.00m. Ajax and Athletic Club have also been linked with the player.
