English midfielder Liam Gibbs, aged 23, has moved to Preston North End from Norwich City on a season-long loan. Gibbs, who has made over 100 appearances for Norwich City since joining in July 2022, made the move to secure more regular first-team football. Preston manager Paul Heckingbottom commented that Gibbs is a young player with significant experience in the league, describing him as a good athlete and a technical player. Heckingbottom added that although Gibbs has been deployed in various roles at Norwich, he sees him primarily as a central midfielder. His contract at Norwich is valid until June 30, 2028, and he has a current Transfermarkt market value of €1.50m.
