Jorthy Mokio, an 18-year-old Belgian youth international who can play as a centre-back or a central defensive midfielder, is with Ajax after having moved to the Dutch club in 2024. It is suggested that a significant offer would be required to sign the player, who is reportedly keen to compete at the highest possible level. Mokio's current deal with Ajax runs until 2031, and it is stated that West Ham would need to be in England's top-flight to be able to reach an agreement. The player, who has 6 caps and 2 goals for Belgium U21, has also been linked with Real Madrid and Porto. In August 2026, it was reported that Real Madrid had prepared an offer of approximately €30 million for the player, whose current Transfermarkt market value is €15.00m.
