The move would represent Mustapha's first loan spell in England, though he previously had a brief period in Germany with 2. Bundesliga side FC Nürnberg, making two appearances. The Sierra Leone and England midfielder scored seven goals and provided four assists in 20 Premier League 2 appearances last season. His contract at Crystal Palace runs until June 30, 2028, and he has made one appearance for the Sierra Leone U20 national team.
