John Mousinho stated that if 29-year-old English centre-back Josh Knight is not getting minutes at Reading, he was sure the players would want to go and look elsewhere. Knight is currently on loan at the club from Portsmouth until May 2027 and has a current market value of €800.0K, according to Transfermarkt. In the 2025/2026 season, he made one appearance in League One and one in the Championship.
