According to journalist Simon Phillips, Chelsea are monitoring 19-year-old Everton central midfielder Harrison Armstrong and are compiling weekly reports on him this season. During the summer transfer window, Everton had been willing to accept a £40 million offer for Armstrong from Nottingham Forest, but the club cancelled the deal following fan protests. The midfielder is under contract at Everton until the summer of 2028 and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €30M.
