In December 2025, it was suggested he could be sold for a fee greater than €12 million. A month prior, in November 2025, his departure price was believed to be close to his ETV of €13.6 million. These figures contrast with higher valuations from mid-2025, when Celtic's asking price was widely reported as €25-€30 million, and a €10 million bid from Fenerbahçe was rejected.
