Chelsea is interested in a shock move for Celtic attacker Daizen Maeda. A report claims that a host of big Premier League clubs have scouted Maeda this year. Chelsea is named as one of the suitors for the winger, but a move to Chelsea would certainly come as a huge shock given his age. Celtic could demand as much as €30 million, which would make him relatively affordable for an elite side, but it would be a significant overpayment for a player with an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of just €11.1m.

Chelsea, along with other clubs, have shown interest in Daizen Maeda. The player is available for a transfer fee of £25m. Despite the interest, Maeda has expressed happiness at Celtic and is not pushing for a move.
