It is suggested that Derby County should consider a move for Ipswich Town forward and attacking midfielder Anis Mehmeti this summer, as the 25-year-old Albanian international could transfer again. Mehmeti, who has five caps for his country, joined Ipswich for a reported initial fee of £3 million in January 2026, and his place in the squad is now uncertain. The arrival of numerous attacking reinforcements, such as Daizen Maeda, Abdul Fatawu, and Julio Enciso, has increased competition. It is believed that exits from the club will occur before the window closes, and Mehmeti could be one of the players who leaves. A move for the former Bristol City player, whether on loan or a permanent deal, is thought to be an option for Derby manager John Eustace, who is seeking to fill a position on the left flank.
