Daizen Maeda has expressed a desire to move to the Premier League, stating it has always been his goal to play in the English top flight. It has been suggested that newly-promoted Premier League clubs Coventry City and Ipswich Town should consider signing him, while Nottingham Forest and VfL Wolfsburg have also been linked with the player. Maeda's contract expires in the summer of 2027, and it is thought that a fee below his market value could be agreed with Celtic.
