Trabzonspor are reportedly interested in 28-year-old Japanese winger Daizen Maeda. The player could be available for a transfer fee of around £14 million. Maeda joined Celtic FC in July 2022 and has a contract until June 2027. In 15 Scottish Premiership appearances this season, he has scored 6 goals and provided 4 assists. The winger has 26 caps and 4 goals for Japan. His current market value on Transfermarkt is €14.00m. Maeda has also been linked with several Premier League clubs, including Everton and Brentford. Reports from December 2025 suggested Maeda could be sold for over €12 million. In the summer of 2025, Celtic's valuation was cited as £25 million.
