According to Alasdair Gold, Troy Parrott would be keen on returning to a club he loved, irrespective of its top-flight status, if given the chance to show his capabilities for them. Tottenham included a 20% sell-on clause in the deal that took Parrott to AZ Alkmaar. The player is currently valued at approximately €25m (£21.7m), meaning Spurs would get a discount if they chose to try and bring Parrott back. Gold believes this is a distinct possibility.

According to Voetbalprimeur.nl, Tottenham Hotspur is interested in Troy Parrott and his potential departure from AZ. Tottenham Hotspur had been previously mentioned as a club with an interest in Parrott, who is under contract at AZ until the summer of 2029. A departure for Parrott appears to be negotiable for AZ this coming summer for the right price. Transfermarkt estimates Parrott's market value to be 22 million euros.
