Tottenham Hotspur have explored a potential transfer for Atletico Madrid's Giuliano Simeone in recent months, and intermediaries have made checks on the player. According to sources, Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi significantly admires Simeone, while Manchester City and Manchester United also made enquiries during the summer. Atletico Madrid were reluctant to allow him to leave at that time, and the player is understood to be content in the Spanish capital.
