Tottenham Hotspur have been associated with an interest in Niko Iličević, a 15-year-old attacking midfielder from Eintracht Frankfurt who holds German and Croatian citizenship. Bayern Munich, Chelsea, and Newcastle have also been associated with the Germany U17 international, for whom he has made 2 appearances and scored 1 goal. A number of other prominent European clubs, including Manchester City, Barcelona, Real Madrid, AC Milan, and Inter, are also observing his progress. Liverpool and Bournemouth have also joined the group of clubs tracking the player. It is reported that Eintracht Frankfurt has no intention of selling at this time. The club has presented Iličević with a development plan. His current agreement is set to become a professional contract when he turns 16, and while negotiations have not started, they are expected to begin after his birthday.
