Amidst Celtic's search for a dedicated striker, Sparta Rotterdam's 28-year-old Norwegian forward, Tobias Lauritsen, has been identified as a player who could fulfill the role. The forward has scored ten or more goals in every season since he joined the Eredivisie club in 2022. It is suggested that he could potentially become a striker who scores 25-30 goals a season at Celtic due to the nature of the league. Lauritsen, whose contract is valid until June 2026, has also been linked with PSV and Feyenoord. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €3.50m. Sparta Rotterdam reportedly demanded a very high price for the striker in January 2026, having reportedly paid €450,000 for him in August 2022.
