Live updates on transfer rumours.
TransferFeed valuation based on market analysis.
Most recently, in June 2026, reports indicated Roma would not pay the agreed €38 million permanent transfer fee. This option to buy, part of his July 2025 loan from Brighton to Roma, was consistently reported at figures between €37 million and €45 million. During those July 2025 negotiations, Roma's target valuation was reportedly €25-30 million, while a separate report claimed his price had been slashed to £28 million (~€33 million). Earlier, in January 2025, West Ham was linked with a move valued at £35-£40 million (~€41-€47 million). In late 2024, Brighton's asking price was widely reported as £60 million (~€71 million), with some valuations reaching as high as £100 million (~€118 million) and a release clause of €115 million being mentioned.
Our valuation is driven by the recent loan of Evan Ferguson to AS Roma, which included an option to buy consistently reported in the €38-40 million range. Crucially, reports from June 2026 state Roma will not exercise this option following a difficult season, indicating his current market value is significantly lower. This is corroborated by various other valuations from 2025 and 2026 clustering between €25 million and €35 million, rendering the much higher historical asking prices from late 2024 obsolete.
