Assad Al-Hamlawi

In July 2025, the player transferred from Śląsk Wrocław to Universitatea Craiova for a fee of approximately €1 million. By May 2026, reports indicated AEK Athens was willing to offer up to €1.6 million, an amount Craiova deemed insufficient. During the summer of 2026, a reported €3 million offer from Pyramids was also rejected. Throughout this period, Universitatea Craiova's asking price was consistently cited as €5 million in reports concerning interest from Al-Ahly Cairo, Pyramids, and Rubin Kazan, with one earlier report mentioning an expectation of at least €4 million. The player's Transfermarkt value was reported as €1.4 million in June 2026, rising to €2.0 million by September 2026.

Our valuation for Assad Al-Hamlawi is primarily driven by Universitatea Craiova's consistent asking price, repeatedly reported as €5 million, which has deterred multiple interested clubs. This is contrasted with a rejected offer of up to €1.6 million from AEK Athens and a reportedly rejected €3 million bid from Pyramids. Considering his successful season after a €1 million transfer in July 2025, the estimate reflects a likely compromise point between the club's firm stance and the highest reported bids.
