Assad Al-Hamlawi is reportedly a target for Legia Warsaw. Universitatea Craiova does not want to sell Al-Hamlawi for a low price. Transfermarkt lists his market value at 2 million euro, but according to Romanian sources, Craiova is seeking at least 5 million euro.

Legia Warschau is among several clubs interested in striker Assad Al-Hamlawi, who also holds Swedish citizenship. Besides Legia, Mainz 05, AEK Athen, Club Brügge, and Al Ahly Kairo are also reportedly targeting the 25-year-old Palestinian national team player. Al-Hamlawi joined Universitatea Craiova in July 2025 and is under contract until 2028. In the 2025/2026 season, he scored a total of 11 goals in 33 domestic league appearances. The forward has 3 caps for Palestine. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.40m.
