Getafe's interest in 25-year-old striker Assad Al-Hamlawi began after he scored for Universitatea Craiova in a Conference League draw. The Spanish club will continue to monitor the player for a potential winter transfer, with Universitatea Craiova wanting approximately five million euros for him. A winter departure is not guaranteed, as Craiova's management will consider the team's Conference League campaign before making a final decision.
