Giovanni Becali has stated that Răzvan Sava, a 24-year-old Romanian goalkeeper, is expected to leave Universitatea Craiova during the winter transfer window and return to his parent club, Udinese, likely due to his situation at the team. Becali explained that Sava is on loan and he thinks the player has one more year remaining on this arrangement. He also believes that Udinese gave Sava a contract extension of one or two years prior to loaning him out. Becali mentioned that the goalkeeper's contract in Italy is valued at several hundred thousand euros and that Craiova covers a part of this amount, but he was not certain about the specific percentage. He further suggested that after his return, Udinese might loan Sava out again, with a Serie B club being a possible destination, and would not have difficulty in finding a new team for him. Sava's current market value is €2.50m, according to Transfermarkt, and he has not yet received a cap for the Romanian national team.
