He has left the training camp of his current club, Śląsk Wrocław, apparently in an effort to force a transfer. It is said that the Romanian club was introduced to him by Tudor Băluță, a former Śląsk Wrocław player who has recently joined Universitatea Craiova. The player's representatives have explained that psychological and stress-related issues were the reasons for his departure from the camp.
