Newcastle United have carried out detailed checks on Žan Vipotnik, a 24-year-old striker for Swansea City and the current top scorer in the Championship. Several other Premier League clubs are also interested, in addition to Sporting CP, Coventry City, and Ipswich Town. Although the striker recently signed a new long-term contract, reports in March 2026 suggested a potential sale would require a fee between £15m and £20m.
