Oluwaseun Adewumi, a 21-year-old Austrian attacking midfielder, is on loan at 2. Bundesliga club Hertha BSC from Burnley for the 2026/27 season. This is his third temporary move since joining from Austrian second division side Floridsdorfer AC in the summer of 2024, and he has not yet made his debut for his parent club. In Germany, Adewumi has scored three goals in his first six appearances, all of which came in consecutive substitute appearances. His previous loans include the 2024/25 season at Scottish Premiership team Dundee, where he recorded five goals and five assists in 32 games, followed by a spell at Cercle Brugge where he scored six times in 33 matches. It has been suggested that Burnley could recall him in January if such an option is available, given the club's struggles. He has been capped 14 times by the Austria U21 team, scoring one goal. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is estimated to be €1.50m.
