Sergej Milinković-Savić Transfer from Al Hilal to Chelsea
According to Corriere dello Sport, Enzo Maresca’s side will move for Sergej Milikovic-Savic during the next transfer window. Negotiations have reportedly stalled, with Milinkovic-Savic uncertain about staying in the Saudi Pro League or returning to Europe. According to Italian reports, Chelsea are positioned to act on this situation and are considering a move for him at a reduced price.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Chelsea have identified Milinkovic-Savic as a potential signing for the summer of 2026, with Chelsea News describing him as a 'marquee' target. Enzo Maresca’s side are interested in signing him on a free transfer when his Al-Hilal contract expires in June. Milinkovic-Savic reportedly earns €480,000 (£417k) a week. Chelsea do not want overpaid superstars and would rather help younger players reach their potential on more realistic contracts. While Milinkovic-Savic may be open to reducing his wages for a Premier League move, he is unlikely to fit into Chelsea’s financial structure.
Al-Hilal's 30-year-old Serbian midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, whose contract is expiring, is attracting interest from European clubs, especially from Chelsea under manager Maresca. Juventus is also keen on the player to enhance its midfield, while in Turkey, both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are reportedly prepared to make a significant effort to sign him. Although his future could be decided in the January transfer window, the Corriere dello Sport portal reports that his agent, Uros Jankovic, is already aligned with the Saudi club regarding a contract renewal. The player has a current market value of €17 million, according to Transfermarkt.
