Al Shabab attempted to recruit 34-year-old winger Mohamed Salah from Trabzonspor, and the Saudi Arabian club offered him a guaranteed annual salary of 25 million euros. Salah, whose market value is estimated at 17 million euros, reportedly refused this offer, choosing to continue his career with the Turkish club. The Egyptian international, who has 120 caps and 66 goals for his country, has also instructed his representative, Ramy Abbas, not to forward any new transfer proposals. This decision comes as Salah, who joined the club in August 2026 and is under contract until June 30, 2028, has attracted interest from several clubs due to a strong start to the season with 10 goals and 5 assists in 13 matches.
