After his performances at the South American under-17 championship, Eduardo Pape was watched by Chelsea, Manchester City, and Bournemouth. Arsenal and Newcastle United are also monitoring the Cruzeiro midfielder closely, while Bayern Munich have sent a scout to observe the 17-year-old. Additionally, sources have stated that Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Villarreal, and Monaco have an interest. Pape's contract is valid until 2029 and contains a €100 million international release clause; however, sources indicate Cruzeiro are seeking approximately €40 million for any potential sale. No formal offers have been made so far, with most clubs satisfied to monitor him from a distance, partly because he is unable to join a UK club until after he becomes 18 in March 2027. Cruzeiro are not under pressure to sell in the short term and it is expected they will continue developing him.
