Steve Solvet, a 30-year-old Guadeloupean centre-back for Sabah in Azerbaijan, has attracted interest from other clubs. Both Al-Khaleej, a team in the Saudi Arabian top division, and Olympiacos have taken steps to acquire him. The clubs would like to secure an agreement from the beginning of January. Solvet's contract with Sabah is set to run until June 2027, and he will have the option to sign with a club of his choice for the subsequent season as he will be in the final six months of his contract. In response to this interest, Sabah has started negotiations with Solvet's representatives for a new contract to retain him.
