Celtic is on alert over Anderlecht attacker Nilson Angulo. The Ecuador international has been attracting attention from all over Europe after an impressive display. Reports in his homeland suggest that a £3million fee could seal an exit from the Belgian side.

Celtic, the reigning champions of Scotland, have submitted a bid for Nilson Angulo, a 21-year-old winger from Ecuador who has been playing for Anderlecht for the past three years. Despite this, Anderlecht deemed the initial offer insufficient. Angulo has struggled to firmly establish himself in the team, even though he has participated in 39 matches this season, scoring two goals and providing three assists. According to South American journalist César Luis Merlo, numerous clubs have expressed interest in Angulo, with Celtic being the first to officially present an offer. Angulo has frequently appeared as a substitute, but he managed to earn a starting role as a wingback during the play-offs under manager Besnik Hasi, which garnered him attention from potential buyers.
