Despite this, Anderlecht deemed the initial offer insufficient. Angulo has struggled to firmly establish himself in the team, even though he has participated in 39 matches this season, scoring two goals and providing three assists. According to South American journalist César Luis Merlo, numerous clubs have expressed interest in Angulo, with Celtic being the first to officially present an offer.
