According to Fanatik, Beşiktaş is renewing its efforts to sign Nicolas Raskin from Glasgow Rangers. President Serdal Adalı has placed the player at the top of the transfer list. Beşiktaş has moved again for the Belgian midfielder, who was also on their agenda in the summer but whose transfer did not materialize. It has been claimed that Raskin is open to moving to Istanbul and that his agent is in contact with the Beşiktaş management. The Beşiktaş management plans to use the positive relations it has established with Glasgow Rangers as an advantage in negotiations. In the last days of the transfer window, Belgian midfielder Nicolas Raskin was approached by two top Turkish clubs, Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe, but the player rejected their advances.
