Joe Willock Transfer from Newcastle United to Beşiktaş
Reports in the British press state that Newcastle United is not inclined to offer a new contract to Joe Willock, whose contract expires at the end of the season. The same reports indicate the English club is willing to consider offers for the 27-year-old midfielder in January to avoid losing him for free. Beşiktaş remains interested in Willock, and president Serdal Adalı stated that he is insistent on the player and will talk again during the winter break. The Beşiktaş board will base its official actions on Willock's contract status and Newcastle's expectations for a transfer fee in January. If Newcastle does not change its position on a new contract, the player's career plan will be decisive. Beşiktaş management will continue its contacts with both the club and Willock's representatives, waiting for suitable conditions to develop by January. If conditions become reasonable, the aim is to complete the transfer quickly. Joe Willock has played in 7 official matches for Newcastle United this season, scoring 3 goals.
