Mohamed Bamba Transfer from Lorient to Celtic
According to Ouest-France, Celtic Glasgow has shown interest in Mohamed Bamba and has submitted a loan offer with a purchase option to Lorient's management. Bamba is under contract with Lorient until 2028. The forward arrived at the club in January 2024, scoring eight goals in 16 Ligue 1 matches. This season, he has faced difficulties due to injuries and a lack of continuity, and has scored one league goal. Bamba was also not included in the Lorient squad for the Coupe de France match against Hauts-Lyonnais because of a disciplinary sanction.
Celtic have submitted an offer to sign Lorient forward Mohamed Bamba. The proposal is reported to be a loan with an option to buy for the 24-year-old. Bamba has not been a regular starter this season, scoring one goal. This follows a campaign where he contributed a combined 10 goals and assists in Ligue 2 to help Lorient gain promotion. The potential transfer occurs as Celtic are seeking to add attackers in the January window.
