Lille is monitoring David Moreira, a 21-year-old Cape Verdean and Portuguese left-back, and the French club does not rule out making a concrete offer in the upcoming January transfer window. Moreira joined Gil Vicente from Sporting in the summer on a free transfer, and as part of that deal, Sporting retained a percentage of the player's economic rights, meaning they would receive a portion of any potential transfer fee. His contract with the Portuguese club is valid until June 2029, and his current market value is €1.70m, according to Transfermarkt. Moreira has 3 caps for Cape Verde. Jagiellonia Białystok has also been associated with the player.
