Mohammed Diomande Transfer from Rangers to Beşiktaş
Turkish football club Besiktas is reportedly making a substantial financial offer for Rangers midfielder Mohamed Diomande. The bid, estimated to be between €10-12 million (£8.6-10.2 million), has been submitted, and negotiations between the two clubs are currently in progress. Diomande joined Rangers in January 2024 through a loan agreement that included a purchase obligation, which saw Rangers paying Nordsjaelland £4 million for him six months later. The 23-year-old player is contracted with Rangers until 2028. The Ivory Coast international, who netted six goals in 54 appearances for Rangers in all competitions last season, was previously associated with a potential move to Premier League team Everton earlier this summer. However, it is the Istanbul-based club that has made an official move, as reported by the German outlet FussballEuropa. Although no final decision has been reached, the ongoing transfer talks indicate that Diomande could be the latest Rangers player to be considered for a significant transfer away from the club this summer.
