Leeds United and fellow English club Ipswich Town are interested in 21-year-old Moroccan international attacker Yassir Zabiri, who has two caps for his country. Both clubs have reportedly sent representatives to watch his performances for Racing Santander in the Spanish league, where he is currently on loan from Stade Rennais. The French club holds his contract until the summer of 2029. Zabiri's loan deal does not include a purchase option, but Racing Santander wants to keep him. According to previous reports by Africafoot, the club has already submitted an official offer to Rennes. His current market value is estimated at €20.00m by Transfermarkt. Zabiri moved to Rennes from Famalicão in February 2026 for a reported fee of approximately €10 million.
