Crystal Palace are monitoring 21-year-old Colombian attacking midfielder Juan Manuel Rengifo as part of their recruitment work in South America. A number of other Premier League clubs, including Brighton, Newcastle United, Bournemouth, and Brentford, are also monitoring the player. Scouts from both Brighton and Newcastle have been impressed with his performances. It is understood that Rengifo is viewed as a player who could secure a transfer abroad within the next 12 months, with several clubs reportedly keen to position themselves before more clubs become interested in signing him. Rengifo, who joined Atletico Nacional in July 2025, has a contract until the end of 2028 and has earned one cap for the Colombian national team. In the current 2025/2026 domestic league season, he has scored 7 goals and provided 7 assists in 32 appearances. His current Transfermarkt market value is €5.00m.
