Brentford are monitoring Atletico Nacional's Colombian midfielder Juan Manuel Rengifo as part of their recruitment work in South America. Other Premier League clubs, including Brighton, Newcastle United, Bournemouth, and Crystal Palace, are also monitoring the 21-year-old after their scouts were impressed by his performances. It is understood that Rengifo is increasingly viewed as a player who could move to Europe within the next 12 months, a belief reportedly strengthened by his recent senior debut for Colombia, for whom he has one cap. Rengifo joined his current club in July 2025 and has a contract until the end of 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €5.00m. In the current 2025/2026 season, he has scored 7 goals and provided 7 assists in 32 domestic league appearances.
