The Northern Ireland international has 14 caps and one goal for his country and is expected to sign for the Championship club before the deadline. Devenny, who joined Palace in July 2024 and is under contract until June 2027, had also attracted recent interest from clubs including Celtic, Middlesbrough, and Leicester City. Reports in August 2026 stated that Devenny was available for approximately €7m. It was also reported that Middlesbrough was prepared to offer up to £7m (~€8.5m) and that Celtic was considering a £6m (~€7m) bid. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €12.00m.
