AC Milan and Atletico Madrid are interested in Brighton & Hove Albion's 23-year-old midfielder Diego Gomez. Atlético's interest is said to be longer-term, as they have had scouts evaluate him in recent fixtures. However, a January transfer is indicated by sources to be highly unlikely, as Brighton are under no pressure to sell and Gomez signed a new contract in August that is valid until 2031.
