It was said that Stoke City were interested in signing Canada international Liam Millar from Hull City near the end of the summer transfer window, but a transfer did not happen. Stoke City may get the chance to renew their interest in Millar as they have the opportunity to strengthen their squad again in January.

Liam Millar was connected with Stoke City before his move to Birmingham City.

According to Rob Dorsett of Sky Sports, Birmingham City and Middlesbrough are reportedly interested in Hull City's Canadian winger, Liam Millar. Stoke City's pursuit of the former Liverpool academy graduate continues, while Birmingham and Middlesbrough are also considering a move to further add to Davies and Hellberg's attacking options.

Hull City may include 26-year-old Canada winger Liam Millar in a deal to sign Wales winger Sorba Thomas from Stoke City. Stoke City wants a minimum of £10 million for Thomas, a fee Hull is not willing to meet, but including Millar in the deal could reduce the price. While a number of other Championship sides are interested in Millar, it is also a possibility that he will stay at Hull. Millar has 44 caps and one goal for Canada. He joined Hull City on 09/08/2024 and is under contract until June 2027. His current market value is €5.00m.
