Watford, Sheffield United and Leicester City are in pursuit of Rangers defender John Souttar. Rangers want a seven-figure fee to sell Souttar. The defender was left out of the Rangers squad that travelled to Spain by new manager Derek McIness, despite signing a contract extension with the club in February.

Watford are among a number of Championship clubs monitoring John Souttar, with Sheffield United and Cardiff City also named as interested parties. The Scotland international is said to be considering his future at Ibrox and did not travel with Rangers on their pre-season trip to Spain. Souttar's current contract runs until May 2027, and Rangers are expected to demand a seven-figure fee for his departure.
