Jens Hjerto-Dahl was a midfield target for Cardiff City in the summer, when Rangers were also linked with the player. The Bluebirds submitted multiple bids to his former club Tromso, but an agreement was not reached. The 20-year-old joined Hull City in August, signing a five-year contract, and the club's Premier League status was a decisive factor in the transfer. The Norwegian Under-21 international, for whom he has 10 caps and one goal, has not received much playing time and is not a regular part of Hull's first-team plans. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €10.00m.
