Birmingham City are nearing the completion of a loan deal to sign Brighton winger Ibrahim Osman for the rest of the season. The forward is expected to be recalled from his loan at Auxerre in Ligue 1, where he made 16 appearances and provided two assists, before joining the Championship team. Brighton had signed the 21-year-old Ghana international from Nordsjaelland in 2024 for a fee of around £16 million, after facing significant competition to sign him. Osman spent the previous season on loan with Feyenoord, making 32 appearances, and Brighton hope the move to the English second tier will aid his development.
