David Möller Wolfe Transfer from AZ to Wolverhampton Wanderers

Wolverhampton has secured the signing of Norwegian international David Moller Wolfe from AZ Alkmaar on a five-year deal. Wolfe becomes the third addition to the Old Gold squad this summer and will join forces with his fellow national team player, Jorgen Strand Larsen. By the age of 23, Wolfe has accumulated 190 senior appearances, having started his professional journey with Bergen Nord, before moving to SK Brann in 2019, and subsequently transferring to AZ Alkmaar. At the Dutch club, he made 45 appearances last season, netting three goals and delivering eight assists. Wolfe debuted for the Norwegian senior national team two years ago and has recently participated in the World Cup qualifiers.

David Møller Wolfe is on the verge of transferring to Wolverhampton Wanderers for a fee of 11.5 million euros, with the move contingent upon passing a medical examination. Møller Wolfe was excluded from the squad for the European match against Ilves Tampere as a result of the imminent transfer. Wolverhampton Wanderers outmaneuvered French club OSC Lille to secure his signing. The 23-year-old Norwegian left-back, who joined AZ in 2023 as the replacement for Milos Kerkez, has made 92 appearances and scored four goals for the Dutch club. His contract with AZ was due to expire on June 30, 2028, and Transfermarkt estimated his market value at €9.00m. Besides Lille, he had also garnered interest from Italian clubs Roma and Bologna.
